Czech Army RPG 75 SK75 HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) Rocket launcher Trainer Weapon

Optional after market firing pin conversion to use 209 Shotgun primers.  Contact me for more information, price and availability.

This fascinating excellent rocket propelled grenade is similar to the US LAW (Light Anti-Tank Weapon) rocket and is completely inert.  Amazing Cold War era military weapon.

Sealed in a wooden crate out of sight about 40 years ago, it is being offered exclusively here on Gun Broker.

( This auction  is for an inert Cech Army RPG 75 trainer known as SK75.  Some of the stock pictures are of a live RPG 75 for a reference only.  The pictures of the Black color weapons are the trainer that we are selling,  pictures of the green color launchers are of the live RPG 75 and only shown as a reference.)

The Czech RPG 75 Rocket was designed to be a front-line force anti-tank weapon. With a compact telescoping design that draws from the US LAW rocket, the Warsaw Pact aligned Czech military produced tens of thousands for use by the military.

Note, this weapon was never loaded with propellant or explosives.  It is pulled from production without loading any energetic material for use as a trainer, but could be activated as a weapon if you apply to the ATF on their Form-1

The launcher can be activated as a signaling device like the 37mm flare launchers without a Form 1 from the ATF.  ( Check with your local ATF for any changes or a different interpolation ) For use as a signaling device, remove the dummy primer then drill the primer hole to accept the shotgun primer).  If you activate this item, do so at your own risk.

( Note the wood create in the picture is not included but it is available as a add on option for $85.00 extra including shipping and I will ship you RPG75 trainer in this crate.)

The Czech Army RPG SK75 is a training rocket that was made to instruct Czech soldiers how to operate the RPG-75 anti-tank weapon.  The weapon is identical to the fully functional live ones with just a view exception.  It’s firing mechanism is fully functional including the firing pin.  A small rubber plug is in the primer pocket.  So when you extend the tube pop up the sights remove the safety pin then hold down the top safety while you press the trigger.  Then the striker with t firing pin will fire, so if you had a live primer installed it would have fired.  Also, the only dummy part they put in it was a solid nylon HEAT warhead.
These Anti-tank training weapons are nearly identical to the live ones.  The excellent pop-up sights have range finding reticle, The entire firing mechanism is intact and functioning including the sticker and firing pin.   The weapon has incredible tight tolerances and precision fitted and the finish is excellent.  A dummy HEAT warhead is fitted where a live one would be.  When the launcher is extended the firing pin will strike the tube where a live primer would be on its live counterpart.  What I am trying to say, you could file a form 1 with the ATF for a permit to activate this weapon since it has all the parts  as new , all you would need to do is make the projectile you want to lunch , load it in to the tube and remove the rubber plug where a primer goes, press in a live primer and you are ready to go.  But do not attempt to activate one unless you have the correct FFL or you file a Form 1 with the ATF.
Once you have your ATF approval you can activate the weapon.  In a conversation I had with the ATF regarding these RPG’s they said we do not need a separate license for live rounds we make as long as you don’t load them with explosives, So making chalk rounds for these weapons is a easy job.

It is possible to finish this weapon by boring the rear solid tube to a smaller bore than the live weapons so it can't use the live anti tank rounds but rather non standard rounds that are only signal type or target practice type and not need a BATF form 1.  So ATF in this case doesn't classify this as a destructive device if no ammunition such as anti tank rounds are available.   So it is clarified the same as the 37mm flare launchers.   The weapon can be made reloadable in this way.  It has a striker and firing pin and a place for a primer.  So if the rear tube is boarded through and a primer installed where the firing pin hits, you could load that tube with a propellant like double base pistol power. up at the front of the rear tube then use a counter mas such as water or sand behind the propellant charge.  These capsules can be made on a 3D printer and then your target round filled with chalk or a flare can be loaded in the large tube.  The idea is to use a counter mas behind the propellant charge that equals the weight of the projectile so you will achieve zero recoil on the weapon.  However the back blast is deadly and can kill a person so if you do this you must have a very large safe back blast area behind you before firing.   If you check local laws and there are no restriction, before you try to fire this with home made flares or chalk target rounds, test the load you made remotely in case you over loaded it. You can test it remotely by using a cannon fuse or my favorite is to use a electric match used in fireworks, I put a hole in the counter mas to run the wire of the e-match or cannon fuse that way you can test it at a safe distant and fire it when you press a button on the wireless fireworks firing system.  Also these are much loader than any weapon you are use to, so it is imperative to use hearing protection.  This information is at your own risk and you assume full responsibility.  This text reflects my experiences and it is not intended as instruction for anyone else to try.

These are band new never opened and double sealed inside of two 6 mil bags.  They have been since the day they were made.  Most if not all have the dummy nylon warhead expanded at room temperature and prevents opening or closing the tube.   If that happens to you, simply put the weapon some place cool, refrigerator or freezer for 30 minutes and the weapon will open freely.  How ever, once t returns to room temperature, it will e stuck again.  If that happens all you need to do is cool it back down and remove the dummy HEAT round the lightly sand the dummy round with fine wet sand paper until it fits easily back in the tube.

The primer holder on the tube can be modified very easy to use shotgun primers.  The striker assembly will work on these primers without any modification.  If you only load inert chalk rounds or signaling rounds like flares or smoke, you will not need to register the item with the ATF.  But check you local laws first.

More information on the original weapon
The RPG-75 is a portable, disposable, single-shot anti-tank weapon, developed in the 1970s in Czechoslovakia. It fires a 68 mm grenade (the projectile is not a rocket) with an effective range of 300 meters and maximum range of 1000 meters. It resembles the American M72 LAW rocket launcher. This RPG is recommended to be used on light tanks and armored tracked vehicles.

A new option is available – For an additional $300.00 We can convert this RPG 75 trainer to fire shotgun primers using our CNC made firing pins and modified primer retainer.  The conversion includes dismantling the launcher and removing the dummy warhead.  We then remove the primer retainer and drill it to allow use of the new firing pin, then the primer cavity is drilled to accommodate a standard Winchester type 209 primer.
To fire a primer, you will need to unscrew the retainer. If there is a spent primer in the cavity, you must remove it then drop in a new primer and replace the retainer.  The unit is now ready to fire the new primer.
To fire the launcher, Remove the front cap and deploy the front sight, next deploy the rear sight, now twist the rear rubber end counterclockwise 1/8 of a turn and pull the it out all the way then twist clockwise until it locks.  Remove the firring safety pin, holding the launcher over you right shoulder, depress the trigger lock with your right index finger and push the trigger forward with your right thumb to fire the primer.
To reload and fire a new primer, flip the firring pin striker back to its cock position at the same time you slid the trigger to the rear then replace the safety pin. You can now replace the primer as described above.
